Yes enterprising individuals will always do a much better job of self policing out of self interest right? Right? Oh we never heard of human greed. What's that? That would be the other invisible hand the one that overrides decency and good sense. If self interest being transmuted into the common good were so all powerful why would we need laws?
This Madoff characther admitted to people it was ponzi scheme. How is that for an open and shut case. No claims of I didn't know it could end badly here. What the hell. Normally I might laugh at the super rich getting ripped but added in with all the other bad economic news its just depressing. I mean who is going to buy the high end American cars now?
